Eugene, OR—Home Federal Bank President and CEO Len Williams has announced the appointment of Barbara R. Shields as Vice President and Senior Special Assets Officer for the organization. Shields has more than 10 years of experience in banking and most recently served as SVP and Special Assets Recovery Manager for Umpqua Bank in Eugene, Oregon.
"Barbara brings a wealth of experience to her new role with Home Federal Bank," said Saul Weinstein, Vice President and Special Asset Manager. "We are very pleased to have her join the special assets team."
In her new position, Shields is responsible for management and collection of high value and complexity loans and will also manage real estate taken back in foreclosure from intake through liquidation.
Shields received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Ohio University, and she is a graduate of the University of Oregon Law School. She also attended the Western School of Banking in Reno, Nevada.
