Nampa, ID—Home Federal Bank President and CEO Len Williams has announced the promotion of Cindy Bateman to Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for the organization. Bateman has over 25 years of commercial banking experience, and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for the organization. She joined Home Federal Bank in March 2007 as Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Team Leader.
"Cindy has an outstanding and somewhat unique background in commercial and business banking along with many years of experience in credit administration," said Williams. "She clearly understands the challenges our clients and Home Federal Bank are facing in these tough economic times, and she can recommend the best course of action to meet the needs of our clients and the Bank."
As Chief Credit Officer, Bateman is responsible for providing support, direction, credit information, as well as loan policies and procedures to ensure the overall quality of the Bank's lending portfolio. As a critical member of the Executive Management Team, she provides leadership and guidance in all aspects of commercial and consumer lending. Bateman leads the Credit Administration team including credit administrators and underwriters, appraisers, analysts, internal loan review officers, and special asset officers.
Bateman is a holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Idaho State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. She currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and formerly served as the President of Financial Women International.
