Eugene, OR—Len Williams, president and chief executive officer of Home Federal Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Carlin as senior vice president and Director of Bank Operations.
As Director of Bank Operations, Carlin will oversee the administrative departments of Loan Operations, Deposit Operations, Electronic Banking and Commercial Equipment Lease, a specialty lending division that was part of the acquisition of LibertyBank in August 2010. Based in Eugene, Oregon, Carlin and the Operations division provide support for the bank's three regions, ranging from western and central Oregon to Idaho.
"The Director of Bank Operations is a new senior management level position, created in recognition of the important role these departments play in supporting the bank's strategic initiatives," said Williams. "Brian's leadership and previous experience will help bring additional focus to these important functions, and I am thrilled to have someone of Brian's caliber leading the bank's effort in these areas."
Carlin has more than 20 years experience in banking and finance. Most recently, he served as Controller for Home Federal Bank and former Chief Financial Officer for LibertyBank. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon and is a Certified Public Accountant. Active in the local community, Carlin is a member of the Oregon Club and Oregon Society of CPAs, and past president of the Eugene Active 20/30 Club Foundation and past member of the Birth-To-Three Finance Committee.
