Springfield, OR—The Home Federal Foundation, established by Home Federal Bank, has awarded Springfield non-profit Volunteers in Medicine a $2,500 grant.
"We are excited to support Volunteers in Medicine and most importantly the patients they help," said Len Williams, Home Federal Bank President and CEO.
The Home Federal Foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations that serve low- and moderate-income families and individuals, provide educational opportunities, and build community support and infrastructures through economic development.
Volunteers in Medicine is a Springfield-based non-profit that provides a free, comprehensive program of primary care, mental health services, prescription assistance, laboratory services and women's health care to low-income Lane County adults who have no health insurance and are ineligible for government health care programs.
