Home Federal Foundation Invites Community to Help Give Away $25,000 in Grants to Local NonprofitsPrint Article
NAMPA, Idaho—The Home Federal Foundation, established by Home Federal Bank, invites the community to help them give away $25,000 in grant money prizes. People are invited to vote on Facebook for their favorite participating nonprofit in an online contest as part of a social giving campaign.
“This is a great way for community members to take an active role in supporting the important work of these local organizations,” said Len Williams, President and CEO of Home Federal Bank. “It only takes a minute and it can have a huge impact in our community.”
The Home Federal Foundation will give away a total of $25,000 in grants to four nonprofits in Western Oregon, Central Oregon, and Idaho. The nonprofit with the most overall votes will receive a $10,000 grant. Additional $5,000 grants will be awarded to nonprofits within each region that receive the next highest number of votes. Voting begins October 1 and ends November 3, with winners announced shortly thereafter.
“Home Federal Bank and the Foundation are committed to making a positive difference in the communities we serve,” said Williams. “This campaign gives the community an opportunity to help us choose which organizations should receive additional support this fall from our Foundation.”
